O objetivo deste Simpósio é fornecer apresentações e debates com a comunidade científica brasileira sobre os mais recentes avanços da pesquisa da diversidade microbiana, ecologia e Biodiscovery, para forjar o interesse sobre a importância e novas estratégias para a pesquisa em microbiologia e ciências afins, bem como discutir o futuro da pesquisa em microbiologia e áreas afins, com o objetivo de estimular a colaboração entre pesquisadores brasileiros e internacionais.
